Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation
In 1925, at one of the first Lions International Conventions, Helen Keller asked Lions to focus on preventable sight and hearing issues as their primary mission. Since our formation in 1959, the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation (OLSHF) has strived to fulfill this promise of providing sight and hearing assistance to those in need.
Every year, we help over 100,000 people through nine direct service programs, as part of our mission to screen, treat, save, and restore sight and hearing for those who have nowhere else to turn. We ensure that people who need surgery, treatments, exams and glasses or hearing aids, receive help so they can return to work, support their families and lead productive lives.
